Original Question: How to recover the setting on EV-ADRN-WSN-1Z by kj.liu
Hi Sir,
First, I got the ADRN-WSN-1Z and the function is ok , but when one of colleague do some change on AnodeCoding and the problem happen. Although the main board still could be saw on PC, the data of Bunck WSN board can’t be read on AnodeCenterPoint(seem doesn't connect to Main board but the LED light in the first time when power on). I try to follow the User guide to back default setting . but it’s not work. Is there any suggestion in this to make it work?

Hi Kun-jing,
I presume the configuration screenshot you posted is for the EVAL-ADuCRF101-MK board. On the similar lines we need to check the configuration of other nodes like Endpoint (BUNCH). Follow the below mentioned instructions to capture this information.
After connecting the BUNCH (EndPoint) to PC open the ANodeConfiguration tool and click on “Find devices” button to detect the device. Once EndPoint is detected select the end point and then click on the “Get config” button to read configuration from the device.
Please refer to the “ANODE CONFIG GUI” section from User Guide-ADRN-WSN-1.pdf for detecting, configuring a device and more information.
With the CenterPoint configuration you have posted, to establish communication the EndPoint should have the configuration as shown below. Please try configuring the Endpoint with the below configuration.

We hope the ADRN-WSN-1Z kit you receive has 3 boards, 2 BUNCH boards configured as EndPoint and one EVAL-ADuCRF101-MK board configured as CenterPoint. According to your statements, we infer you are able to connect the CenterPoint to the ANodeCenterPoint tool but you are not observing any messages from EndPoint, after changing the configuration of the EndPoint. Please answer some questions below.

Hi Harishkumarkatam,
The following is my reply
I also have discussed with my colleagues about what setting he did. he told me that he has reset the node function to End point and then change back, the function can't work.
Very thanks for your precise reply, I have make the bunch board be reconnected, but there are several questions also needs your help.
1.the Second bunch board: if I want to use multi bunch board , what should I do , change the upstream channel from CH0 to CH1 ?
2.how to recalculate the sensor data? the sensing data would be shown in screen but I don't know what it mean , do you have detail document to explain this ?
3.Can I adjust the frequency in this EVB? through AnodeConfiguration?
4.as your experience , how far is this EVB that still can receive the data if no block?
5.Router function: How to simulate the router function in WSN EVB or it's impossible.
please find my response below.
The same configuration (as mentioned before) can be used for the second BUNCH board as well. But make sure to give a different MAC address, that should work.
Data from four sensors (ADT75, ADXL362, SHT21 and ALS) supported on BUNCH board will be transmitted to Center Point. The sensor data can be seen on ANodeCenterPoint tool “Network overview” tab as show below
The protocol supports the ISM band frequencies as shown below. User need to select the one, which falls in the hardware supported range. EV-WSN-ADRN-1Z supports 868MHz & 915MHz bands. Please note all the devices in a network should operate on same frequency.
I have tested the communication between BUNCH board (uses CHIP antenna) and EVAL-ADuCRF101-MK (whip tilt SMA antenna) in our lab, which is about 30 meters wide and it could receive packets. It can still go up further.
It is possible to use BUNCH board as router (in fact any device comes in the kit can be configured as any type of node. The main reason the BUNCH is suggested to be used as Endpoint because, it has on-board sensors and to use the hardware resources in efficient manner). When using the BUNCH as router, one must make sure the device is powered from a constant power source (not with the battery) as the router is non-sleepy device.
We have recently announced our new EDK. More details @ following links and this would work with the hardware you have.
Please download the “ADRadioNet Software for ADuCRF101 free (Rev. 2.0)” from the links present and install the ADRadioNet01_EDKv2.0.exe. [LINK]
After installing the package in the specified directory please refer to the “ADRN01-All-in-One-GettingStartedGuide_v2.0” in the following location “\ADRadioNet01\Docs” for the configuration of devices and detail documentation on the demo setup.
Thanks & Regards
