AD6LoWPAN EDKv1.0 is Evaluation Development Kit that includes complete source code and required software tools to quickly evaluate Analog Devices 6LoWPAN wireless sensor network solution on ADuCRF101 evaluation hardware platforms (www.analog.com/wsn).

 

The solution is based on Contiki lightweight sensor OS. The starting point for AD6LoWPAN solution is uIPv6 from Contiki 2.5 as the key constituent. On top of this, Analog Devices upgraded the stack with the following RFC's ..

  • RFC 6550: RPL: IPv6 Routing Protocol for Low Power and Lossy Network
  • RFC 6282: Compression Format for IPv6 Datagrams over IEEE 802.15.4 based networks
  • RFC 6775: Neighbor Discovery Optimization for IPv6 over Low Power Wireless Personal Area Networks

AD6LoWPAN EDKv1.0 Features:

  • Easy to Deploy: IPv6  Address & Prefix auto configuration, Neighbor Discovery and Auto parent selection eliminates network administration overheads and provide self-healing capabilities.

  • Optimized data transmission: Supported with in-built Acknowledgement and re-transmission mechanism.
