How different is AD6LoWPAN from Contiki OS based implementation? List the main differences if any?

  • AD6LoWPAN is based on Contiki solution on Analog Devices ADuCRF101 (Integrated Sub-GHz radio transceiver with Cortex M3), with certain upgrades as listed below:


    • Contiki is open source lightweight sensor OS for IoT.
    • Contiki 2.5 is the starting point for AD6LoWPAN, with platform support added for ADuCRF101
    • uIPv6 is the key component of Contiki distribution that is used in AD6LoWPAN
