Although it’s beyond the scope, based on my knowledge, I am giving this info: The ADF7242 supports flexible SPI control interface with block read/write access. So, you can interface ADF7242 to the RaspberryPi3 using SPI interface and write your own ADF7242 driver on RaspberryPi3. Hope this helps.
