TES GUI connection ADRV9009 ZCU102

Hi,

I have a ZCU102 paired with a ADRV9009 eval board. I have been attempting to initialize the ADRV9009 board with same initialization procedure that the iio scope uses. I had found that the ADRV9009 evaluation GUI is not able to connect to the board but have been able to produce the initialization script, which the GUI provides in either python, matlab or c...in order to run the initialization script in matlab for example it first attempts to connect over ethernet, but I have not been able to connect to the board...

How do I connect to the board? thanks

    Have you followed the steps given in the below link and created the image correctly?

    Are you able to ping to the board? Can you share the BOOT log by connecting to the board through serial port so that we can check in which part the boot fails.

    i did not create the image from scratch as I am using the latest provided from the page you provided. I followed the instructions to prepare the image onto the SD card and have been using the iio scope application from both the zynq processor and remotely from test PC over Ethernet. I have been able to ping the board, no problems. I just cannot connect to the board when using the TES GUI, I extracted the init files from there to hopefully initialize the ADRV9009 board, but it requires to connect to the board over ethernet with IP Address and port number. I know IP Address is correct but I leave the port number as 55555. I opened a TCP port on my windows laptop but that doesnt seem to help either. Find the boot log attached here...

  • I also have a ZC706-Zynq3 board that I went ahead and hooked up....I have the same issues...I can ping the board, connect via iioscope over ethernet, but cannot connect using the TES GUI....

    You cannot use TESGUI to connect to ZCU102+ ADRV9009 board. Only IIO is supported with this setup. Refer below link:

    For connecting zynq3 board to TESGUI, are you using the windows based SD card for booting the board?
