ADRV9009 HDL Code insert TX signal to trigger RX receiver


I am using the ADRV9009 Evalboard with ZCU102 Board.

I connected the TX and the RX together using a SMA cable.

I can receive the sent waveform but the sent RF-pulse does not Start at Time 0.

This is changing from run to run. The reason is, that the TX and the RX are not synchronized.

I want to add a signal to connect the TX to the RX that can be used to synchronize the RX to the TX.

I can think of a trigger signal that sets the receiver memory address to the start-address.

May you please help me find a way to implement this?

    Are you seeing  the phase difference with every boot up?

    You can use the RFPLL phase synchronisation feature to synchroise and align the RX and the TX LO to the applied REF_CLK. After synchronisation you will see that the LO phase w.r.t the REF_Clk remains the same with every boot up.
