ADRV9002 TES - Limitation of decimal point in datarate

Hi, everyone.

In TES v0.17.0

When I input "507.8125 kSPS" in dataport sample rate, TES is down with error pop-up

I am guessing it's caused by having too many decimal places. but curious what the specific restrictions are.

Sincery,
JaeKyung

    Hello again JaeKyung,

After bringing this issue to the Software Team's attention, they have responded as follows:

    1. GUI may not be able to take 4 decimal places here (minimum 1Hz resolution) but should error elegantly and not hit exception.
    2. There are frequencies that are not supported (Dead-zones). Removing the decimal place and setting all sample rates to 507.812 Ksps will yield a similar error indicating this is a dead zone. Users can achieve 507.81 successfully.

I hope this clarifies everything! We'll be updating the GUI in short order, however 507.812 kSps does not appear to be a sample rate we can support. 507.81 kSps seems to work fine.

    Best Regards,
    Oisín.

  • Hi Oisin,

    I have a question.

According UG-1828 (Rev. PrB) page 76, Dead-zone is not include 507.812 Ksps.
Even if infer items 13 to 16 of the list, 507.812 Ksps is not included in the list.

Are there any additional dead-zones on this list?

    Sincery,
    JaeKyung.
