ADRV9002 TES Transmit tab ; about Tx frequency offset correction

Hi all,

We cannot find a detailed description of the frequency offset correction option feature on the Transmit tab of the ADRV9002 TES.
Is this feature enabled on TES sdk v17 ? How to use?
What is the frequency specification of the "Frequency offset correction option" function ?

    The two highlighted regions of the images above show the control points for Tx Frequency Offset Correction calibrations. From there you should be able to test the performance of the calibration very easily with a spectrum analyzer.

    TX and RX Frequency Offset Correction is same function ?
    About the TX, the frequency spec is none.
     1.a configurable frequency -12kHz to +12kHz and FTW 32 bits wide.
     2.the frequency deviation value in Hz and specify.

    On the UG-1828,
    In the RX section, page 120,
    FREQUENCY OFFSET CORRECTION
    The correction may occur immediately or relative to receiver frame boundary. Another programmable NCO is employed with a configurable frequency -12kHz to +12kHz and FTW 32 bits wide.
    The API command adi_adrv9001_Rx_FrequencyCorrection_Set( ) is used to correct small deviations in receiver LO frequency. The user must provide the frequency deviation value in Hz and specify if the correction should take place immediately or at the start of next available frame. Note the device employs the digital NCO in the datapath to correct the frequency deviation instead of RF PLL retuning.

    In the TX section, page 112,
    Transmitter Frequency Offset Correction
    The ADRV9001 provides user capability to correct small deviations in transmit LO frequency through an API command. Through this API, the user can provide the desired frequency offset in Hz and whether to change the frequency immediately or update it at the start of the next available frame.

    You're most welcome!

    They are essentially the same function, yes. Think of it like a user controlled calibration, Frequency Offset Correction allows you to programmatically correct for frequency errors using the NCO present in both the Rx and Tx signal chains.
