I am planning to evaluate the receiver channels of ADRV9002 Evaluation Board using TES v.0.11.0. As a preliminary step, I am planning to provide a single tone CW signal (from a signal generator) to one of the receiver input ports. What is the maximum input power that can be fed (for this case) into the Rx port and with what gain/attenuation settings in TES?

Table 14 in the datasheet (Maximum Input Power into RF Ports vs. Lifetime) provides some guidelines on this matter. The two columns in the table provide the expected lifespan of the part when using 0dB attenuation on the RF port and when using 30dB attenuation on the RF port.

We have just released our latest version of the TES v0.12.0. For this basic Rx channel test it should not make any difference but there is some changes in this update, all documented in the accompanying user guide update.
