AD9082-FMCA-EBZ maximum FMC data rate

Hi,

I'd like to use the AD9082-FMCA-EBZ with a custom FPGA board with FMC+ connector. UG-1829  (Evaluating the AD9081...) makes many references to using the AD9082-FMCA-EBZ with 24.75 Gb/s/lane link line rate. Am I right in thinking that the AD9082-FMCA-EBZ uses an FMC(not +) and is therefore only rated to 10Gb/s/lane?

In this case, should I anticipate there will be a certain amount of luck in using this board above this rate with any platform other than the supported ADS9-V2EBZ, or should I expect successful operation using the configurations in UG-1829 on arbitrary FMC+ platforms?

    The AD9082-FMCA-EBZ (and companion boards of same product family) can support SERDES operation up to the  devices max rated speed of 24.75 GSPS. Depending on the trace loss from FPGA to AD9082 device (and FPGA drive strength), one may need to adjust the CTLE equalizer (on the SERDES Rx path for DAC data) as shown below in UG1578.
