AD9361 AGC Response time

Hi,

My customer has a 1880 MHz signal at the input and wants to know the response time of the AGC:

How is RX chain AGC working?

What if my input signal instantaneously changed from -100 to 0 dBm? What is the delay of AGC response?

I've seen no posts that have given real numbers. I only saw a handful of posts saying to use the Fast Lock AGC Algorithm and to maximize the ClkRF clock. The AGC is clocked by ClkRF and the faster ClkRF the faster the AGC operates.

    The fast AGC time depends on the configuration, AGC settings that you have set and the signal statistics. As each of the AGC states are clocked at CLKRF, so higher the clkrf rate, faster the AGC operates. It is recommended to measure the time required for AGC to reach the convergence in real time using control out pins.
