I would like to know whether the examples in https://github.com/analogdevicesinc/MathWorks_tools (especially https://github.com/analogdevicesinc/MathWorks_tools/tree/master/hil_models/fmcomms2_3_data_stream) actually transmit a signal from the output or not. I am not able to observe the output so I want to know if this is an actually transmitting example or an example of hardware in the loop.

Are you using Linux or no os setup for configuring AD9361?
If you don't use this example and instead transmit a signal, are you observing a proper output?
I'm using Linux. This is actually my first trial and I don't have the proper equipment to observe at the moment. I am triying to actually transmit a signal and I want to achieve this on MATLAB in order to store and manipulate the data as I wish.
To rule out hardware issues,can you load the attached file in the tx input and then loopback(in case you don't have a spectrum analyser) tx to rx to check if proper output is there on the rx output.lte_10mhz_61p44datarate.txt
