Hello,
We are currently trying to re-simulate the impedance matching following the ADRV9026 UG1727 - Page 215.When we are computing the RX_SEDZ for RX1/RX4 port, we dont retrieve the value from the datasheet smith chart.Could you confirm that the equation is : RX_SEDZ = 50*((1+RX_DC)*(1-RX_DC))We are using Genesys 2020 with the lastest s1p file from the Design file package. Thanks you.Cyril.
The equation is : RX_SEDZ = 50*((RX_RC+1)/(1-RX_RC))
Ok thanks, that's already better.Does Zo is alaways set as 50 Ohm? ADRV9026 RX and ORX are 100Ohm differential and TX is 50Ohm differential.

Yes correct
We have made some impedance matching simulation, could you confirm that it's correct? These results are obtenaid with eval board matching networds (MB).
We used the same equation for all simulations RX_SEDZ = 50*((RX_RC+1)/(1-RX_RC)).
We are surprised by the small "gap" near 2250MHz as well as the poor match on the TX side (S22 is only -10dB).Thanks.Cyril.
Hope you have used the model files for the components that you have used. Also, take into account the board parasitics.
We used real compoents models (Balun, inductor and capacitor). Board hasn't been modeled yet.Does this seems correct? Could you compare it with simulation on your side? Thanks.
All the plots are correct except the gap in between at 2.25GHz.
Below is the S12 for a high band match board:
Do you have the same plot for MB match?I can't find what the cause of the gap.
No we dont have plots for MB match board. The plot should be similar to the one provided in the above post.
