adrv9009 calibration

Hello,

I use adrv9009 with zcu102 no os library I can't understand some notions such as:

orxLowPassAdcProfile and orxBandPassAdcProfile

1- What exactly does this represent? and can you tell me what is their location in the diagram?

and regarding the calibration and tracking

2-how I can eliminate the TX LO LEAKAGE and ORx LO LEAKAGE?

3-how I can activate and deactivate the calibration?

knowing that I connected the tx path to Orx and  I use a 100MHz bandwidth tram with a sampling frequency of 491.52 MHz ( i use this profil https://github.com/analogdevicesinc/no-OS/tree/master/projects/adrv9009/profiles/tx_bw400_ir491p52_rx_bw200_or245p76_orx_bw400_or491p52_dc245p76 )

I'm looking forward to your answers.

Thanks.

It is not possible to eliminate the LOL completely as the transceiver uses a direct conversion type architecture. The LOL can be reduced by running the internal LOL init, external LOL init(which requires tx-orx feedback path) alongwith tracking cal.

You can enable or disable the required TXLOL tracking cals using EnableTrackingCals() API in radio off state.

  • perfect ,

Thank you for your prompt response,

So in your opinion how I can do to correct the noise floor in my signal below?

I mean what is the necessary calibration to eliminate this noise?

I have already read recently that it comes from the adc sigma delta (but we lose 26 db), however you certainly have calluses to correct this noise,

beacause  I will use that for the DPD.knowing that it represents ORx signal below ,and my tx  is placed on the ORx.

2- could you tell me please what are exactely this 2 parametres orxLowPassAdcProfile and orxBandPassAdcProfile  in talise_config.c?

    Thank you in advance !

If you are using a profile with ORX bandwidth higher that 200MHz, you need to enable ORX stiching.

In configuration wizard. There is an option to enable same when using ORx bandwidth higher than 200MHz.

In stiching mode we combine the ORx1 and ORX2 ADC's together to achieve a max bandwidth of 450MHz. For that we use the ORx low pass profile and ORx high pass profile.

If you want your noise floor to be flat for higher bandwidth , increase the bandwidth and generate a profile from filter wizard.

  • If you want your noise floor to be flat for higher bandwidth , increase the bandwidth??

which bandwidth i have to increase??

what is the difference between the tracking cal and calibration ?

take a look you will find attached my 450 MHz profile that I use
