Dear Team ,
RX baluns are getting detached from the ADRV9009 board (2 boards and receiver 2 balun) even we are handling them with the utmost care . Is there any issues with ADRV9009 boards regarding baluns (we are using AD9371 evalution boards also but we didn't face this type of issue for that) .
Thanks and Regards
We have not seen this issue before from any customer. Did the balun cap came out as it is fragile, but should not come out if handled with care. Is the board working properly and are you able to receive signals properly?
we didn't give any input to RX after noticing that because we thought that it may damage the chip .What's the solution for this.
You can give an input (around -14dBm) to the board and check if the signal path is damaged or not.
If the Balun is detached then the signal path is broken, signal level reaching the chip will be very low(will not damage the chip)and at the RX, output level will be very weak.
If the the coil is broken, then you have to replace the balun with a new one(if only the cap is broken then it is fine, you can continue with your testing)
we have checked the receiver by feeding -14 dBm,the signal looks very weak in the ILA .
Thank you Srimoyi
Ok. In that case the Balun is damaged and you need to replace it.
