I tried to evaluate EVAL-ADR9009 on ZCU102 Rev1.1 board. I connected to device and tried to evaluate it. But after a few minutes the temperature of the Eval-ADRV9009 reaches 85-90 celciuc degrees(Even if no complicated process is done). Is it normal? If not, why is the problem caused?

ADRV9009 dissipates typically around 3.5W of power and you will notice substantial heating on the exposed die portion . Hence the Top portion will heat up and under normal lab conditions a heat sink is not required. For custom design or where operating temperatures are higher we recommend a heat sink as shown in datasheet.
When you say 85-90 Deg C , Is it measured or a rough estimate ?

Actually it goes up to 90 degree celcius and I'm running it at room temperature (25 degree celcius).
When both the transmit chain and receive chain are operating, the temperature goes up to 90 °C.
This is normal.
When I turn the radio off from IIO Oscilloscope, I observed the temperature decreases to about 70 degree celcius. However, If this chip goes to 90 degree while operating in room temperature, how is it possible to use this chip in industrial applications such as base stations? Although there will be a cooling measure, this could still pose some problems. Even with heatsink, temperature is about 84 degrees.
The max operating junction temperature is 110 Deg C. Thermal resistance data is provided in datasheet. You need to design heat sink (cooling mechanism) accordingly as per your system requirement.
FYI. This chip is already used in multiple base stations that are in field.
