1. Would like to check if the Frequency Hopping GUI tab found in the TALISE software is for the fast freqency hopping. If not, how should I activate the fast frequency hopping mode. I would like to evaluate the performance under the fast frequency hopping mode.
2. The VCXO recommended in the 9009 schematic seems to be obsolete. ADI has recommended a new part CVHD-950-122.880 from crystek. I am unsure of how should the new part part ( singled ended output) be connected to the AD9528 (which needs a differential input).
3. Would like to request for the noise figure plot for the receiver port for LO freq > 4600MHz. I can find the noise figure plot for LO freq plot for LO=6GHz in the datasheet.
Yes. You can use the FHM mode in GUI for fast frequency hoping. The hop time will be around 60usec depending on profile.
You can set the register[0x0108:D0] for converting the VCXO input to differential.

I just realised that the eval board was mounted with the CVHD-950-122.880 part, even though the schematic stated a different part. Do i still need to change ant settings or I can use the default setting in the SD card.
You can use the default settings.
Meaning I just need to enter the LO freq in the GUI (FHM mode) to trigger the fast freq hopping mode and there is no additional script needed.
Would like to check in the FHM mode in the GUI, does it auto includes the QEC initial calibration. I would like to check out the RF performance with only QEC tracking turned on.I do not wish to run the QEC and RFDC offset init calibrations. How should I do that
