On behalf of Wyatt Taylor: Fast hopping in the ADRV9009 is primarily a function of the RFPLL and how quickly it can change from one freqeuncy to another. In addition to the RFPLL, ADI also introduced software capability to pre-calibrate quadrature errors across the frequency band of interest, so that after the RFPLL is locked, the channel will have good RF and QEC performance.
