How is the value of cellular IoT compared to unlicensed LPWA wireless option regarding their ability to serve applications?

Probably the biggest differences relate to power consumption and data rates. The various LPWA standards that are emerging (LoRa, Sigfox, NB-IoT etc ) are targeting low power and lower data rates when compared to existing 2G/3G/4G standards.)
