Why on the multiplexer example are you showing one ST mux?

Why on the multiplexer example are you showing one ST mux? We have LTC201A or another analog switches that could possible fill out these?

 This example which was developed prior to Linear's acquisition by ADI, shows how the 3 control lines of the LTM2893 are used to control an external mux. The ST part provided a simple, single part solution which worked in the example and was readily available in our lab at the time the example was developed. 
 
 The LTC201A (and other LTC analog switches) would be a multiple part solution (e.g. 2x LTC201A's + a 1 of 8 decoder) which would have complicated the example circuit. 
 
 Finally, ADI offers a large selection of analog switches which include the decoder and would be a good choice for this example.
