Are your isolators able to be used in intrinsically safe circuits for galvanic isolation?
Are your isolators able to be used in intrinsically safe circuits for galvanic isolation?
For intrinsically safe to non-intrinsically safe environments, the insulation requirements would be almost 1mm thick for the internal insulation, which is much thicker than the insulation of our isolators, which have thicker insulation compared to other digital isolators. Note, we have increased our polyimide insulation thickness from the previous generation of 20um to the new On-Off Keying products with 30um of polyimide insulation, which actually has increased the robustness with a surge isolation voltage to over 12,000 volts.
