We do in fact measure the thermal performance of each of the products. This information is very reliable. There are no exaggerations -- we do not want to put customers into a situation where our products will fail consistently. For products with specialized heat-dissipating packages, it is important to follow the assembly and mounting instructions carefully to be sure the maximum heat will be carried away.
