How much effort do you put in definition of the absolute max values?

Absolute Max Ratings matter a lot because that's a key part of the warranty.   We run life tests, temperature cycling, stress tests, etc. on multiple production lots to be sure of those numbers.   Something like storage temperature will be taken as a characteristic of the process as tested on several different product types from that process.
