How do you test bad meters in the field? And... How do you find the standard deviations?

This mSure technology is something that is running in the meter periodically and the mSure results can be compared to the original values recorded during the factory production, to understand any accuracy drift. This means that a meter can be testing itself in the field every hour, or every day, for example, then if something is wrong an alert can be sent on the existing AMI infrastructure to indicate that a meter has an accuracy issue. With the data from all meters in the field, you can look at the mean and standard deviation of the accuracies.
