ADI’s first generation isolated RS-485 parts had EMI problems which were difficult to overcome. How can we be confident that these new devices meet the requirements
(Refer to customer’s feedback.) Proven over 4x families of devices (standalone isoPower, isoData, isoCAN, isoRS-485). Measurement results are available on all ADI’s evaluation boards, showing passing Class B on 2 layer PCBs without any layout mitigation techniques; just two ferrite beads are needed.
