The charge current can be configured using an appropriate sense resistor. For example, a 500mOhm sense resistor can be used to set the charge current to a very small value of 10mA needed for tiny cells in the range of 10mAhr. On the other hand, a 2mOhm sense resistor can be used to get 5A needed for fast-charging 5Ahr batteries.
