The ADuM4166 complies with USB 2.0 signal levels and timing requirements, providing a clean eye due to the built-in retiming. However, the isolator does not include support for some test modes used during compliance tests.
hello,
could you tell me when the device will be available to buy.
Thank you in advance
Will the ADuM4166 eventually be USB2 compliant when released to production?
The ADuM4166 is compliant to USB 2.0 low and full speed requirements, and has been internally verified to meet the signaling requirements for high speed. The ADuM4166 has been released to production but does not include the test modes and automatic entry into those modes, required for standard USB 2.0 high speed compliance and testing.
The 'test modes' ConalW refers to are the 'hi speed' testmodes defined in USB 2.0 chapter 7.1.20. ADuM3165/3166/4165/4166 do not fully support detection of the commands to enter these modes, or the actual entry. However, the products include alternate test capability enabling checking of all items normally tested with the USB 2.0 chapter 7.1.20 hi speed test modes. Analog Devices has performed these alternate tests and confirmed passing results.
