A key change we see is a move from a centralized drive cabinet where you have long cable run to the motor, to a more de-centralized approach where the drive is located closer to the motor (or the load). By locating the drive closer to the motor or in some applications, a motor with an integrated drive we significantly increase the flexibility and scalability of the manufacturing installation.
