Would this smoke detector benefit from an ionization and/or heat rise detector?

This smoke detector solution has passed all the tests found in UL 217/ 268 without the need of an ionization detector, therefore there is no added advantage for including one. To date Analog Devices hasn't done the research on whether the ADPD188 can do the same function/performance a discrete optical and heat sensor combined so that is still being determined, but if a standard requires the use of heat detectors (such as EN 54-29) than one can be added.
