The difference between the ADRV9002 and ADRV9004 is the DPD block. The DPD is available on the ADRV9002 only. The DPD block allows the end system to push the external PA into its compression region to get the most efficiency from it by maintaining linearity on the output. It does this with a feedback loop by pre-distorting live data based on the output from the PA. This lets the end user get the most power amplification while keeping very good ACPR and EVM. It can be used in TDD of FDD modes and with WB and NB signals.
