On your development kit, you have 8 separate input connectors. Why didn’t you put an 8-to-1 combiner on the board so that you could feed the full array with a single cable?

We did that for flexibility. All 8 ports can be combined to implement a fully analog beamformer or any number of digital channels can convert to any number of analog channels for a hybrid solution. So you just have more flexibility that way.
