What are the supply requirements for the LTC4331?

  • Hi,

The power supply requirements of the LTC4331 are flexible. The LTC4331 is a two die solution. One die is a transceiver, and it's supply pin (VCC) requires from 3V to 5.5V. The other die which interfaces with the I2C bus requires 1.62V to 5.5V (VL).

The supplies are completely independent. There are no min or max differences between VL and VCC supply voltages. The remote and local transceivers can also be powered from different supply voltages if required by the application.
