If the A2B bus is not yet active, then there is no means of sending information upstream to the master, so a wake-up from a slave isn't possible. If, however, the A2B bus is fully ON but the Host and other ICs on the master node are in some low-power mode, then a wake-up event from the slave could be supported using GPIOs.
