Hello every one. I have a DIY induction furnace, but can't understand how it work. It has a copper coil that metal or every thing that want to melt, insert in. When there is nothing in the coil, it draw low current(3-5 amp) and it's frequency is 41 kHz. When inserting any metallic object in the coil, current increase and frequency reach to 48 kHz and object is heating.
So, my question is how metallic object change frequency and current of the furnace?
Thanks.
