Do you have plans to offer silent switcher devices with even lower output currents but higher efficiency? They all seem a bit overpowered for our applications?

On behalf of Anthony Armstrong:
We are about to release the LTC3309A: a 5V input capable, monolithic step-down converter that incorporates Silent Switcher technology with up to 6A of continuous output current with efficiencies as high as 95% depending on Vin to Vout conditions. Although this is the first in a new family of parts, they will offer single and dual output version without current ranging from as low as 2A, and as high as 20A – depending upon the configuration. Therefore, you should contact your local ADI representative for background and details on this and our future developments.
