This webinar will discuss some of the challenges facing designers of the surveillance camera motion control subsystem.
This webinar will discuss some of the challenges facing designers of the surveillance camera motion control subsystem. It will introduce ADI Trinamic technology as an example of how motion artefacts can be overcome while still simplifying system level design. For connectivity, Ethernet is the standard communication protocol for surveillance applications, and PoE is how many of these systems are remotely powered. This can present challenges particularly given the higher power requirements – we will briefly look at some of the design trade-offs and corresponding recommendations when considering powering PTZ cameras.
Attendees will learn:
- Explore motion control artefacts and design challenges that can impact the performance of a PTZ camera.
- Learn how Trinamic hardware-based motion controllers can help overcome these concerns while accelerating system design.
- Understand some of the design requirements and recommendations when powering cameras via PoE
