Question
We need to be able to correct for the variation of Input Offset Voltage with
temperature over the range -40 to +70degC. The data sheet only gives a typical
temp coefficient at 25degC. Can we assume it is a straight line? If not a
straight line then is it a predictable shape? Any additional information on
offset
voltage temperature variation is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Answer
As per you inquiry kindly find the answers below.
1. The data sheet only gives a typical temp coefficient at 25degC. Can we

shape?
The Input Offset Voltage vs. Temperature does not vary in a straight line.
Kindly find in the datasheet (http://www.analog.com/ADCMP573) under “Typical
Performance Characteristics” Figure 11.
As visible in the figure the Input Offset Voltage vs. Temperature does not
follow a straight line. Kindly remember that these are typical values, which
may differ from part to part.
