AD1583: Solder temperature

What is the peaksolder reflow temperature can be used for AD1583. If thermoprofiles standard J-std-200 for AD1583. Information that is given in the documentation (page 8) AD1583  I can't understand. There given: Lead Temperature, Soldering, Vapor Phase (60 sec) - 215°C, Infrared (15 sec) - 220°C.

  • Hi Renat,

According to the ordering guide located on page 17 of the AD1583 data sheet the family of part numbers AD1582, AD1583, AD1584 and AD1585 are RoHS compliant. For RoHS compliant products I recommend to all customers to use the JEDEC J-STD-020 standard lead-free reflow profile to ensure that our parts meet their moisture sensitivity level (MSL) rating.

    Peak Temperature (*C)

    Lead Free (JEDEC J-STD-020)

    260

    Tin/Lead

    210-220

    Tin/Silver/Copper alloys

    235-245

    No-Silver and Low-Silver alloys

    245-260

In general, most lead-free alloys require higher reflow temperature.
