Hi,
I need some more information on REF192 dropout at current output < 1 mA.
In the documentation it is indicated that with a current of 10 mA, the dropout is 1v.
Is it possible to have an idea of the dropout witha current of 500 µA ?
In our application, the REF192 will have a power supply input of 3.3v and we want to be sure that it will output the correct voltage reference of 2.5v.
Thanks for your answer
Hi Nadir,
I see in the table on the datasheet that the value you are pointing to is a maximum dropout voltage value at 3.3V Vs.
I'm looking at the datasheet right now, and on page 19 figure 19, there is a graph of dropout voltage vs load current, and at 10 mA, the typical dropout voltage is only at 0.3V. If you look at 1mA (2 times what your asking about) it looks like 0.06V So I would expect that type of performance. (it says REF195, but this is for the REF19x family)
I'm going to move this to the voltage reference community to see if they have any further comments.
Regards,
Brandon
