I have an application where I'm using the DS4305 to store a state when the device powers down (~0 or ~3.5V digital 'state'). I'm finding that on power down, the ADJ drops along with VCC (5V). Even though the Vout was previously set to ~0V and the VIN is near 0V the whole time, as the ADJ drops, the Vout is showing steps of changing. When I power the device on, the DS4305 Vout comes up around 3-4V, which is the opposite state that I was expecting.
Can you provide any insight on how the power down process could be causing the DS4305 to come up in a wrong level?
For screen captures,
Yellow is 5V (VCC)
Red is VIN
Blue is Vout
Green is ADJ
The power down is shown followed by the subsequent power up.
I would expect Vout to come up near zero, not at 3.2V
