Product Number: LT6700
We have a bunch of LT6700 out in the field that violate the maximum output voltage spec. We are using the 18.5V part but we have the following configuration:
At the 35V level and measuring the voltage drop across R105 and R81 there is 100uA and 9uA respectively and there is no thermal rise in the . Can you tell us the Vds rating of the output FET for the 18V LT6700? It appears to be well above the 18.5V absolute maximum limit. We will switch over to the 40V IC, there is just concern about the fielded units now.
