RESTORE_USER_ALL on the LTC2977

The LTpowerplay GUI has an NVM to RAM button which issues a RESTORE_USER_ALL command.  The RESTORE command essentially reloads the RAM from NVM and resets the chip. This is equivalent to pulling the WDI/RESET pin low.

The I2C pullup voltage is typically the VDD33 supply which is a regulated by the 2977. If you use VPWR (4.5V to 15V) to power the chip, VDD33 is your best choice as a pullup supply.  When you issue a RESTORE command, the VDD33 will remain powered up.  The VOUT_EN pins will pull low during a RESTORE.  I am not sure what you mean when you say Vout_EN is high when Vin is started. Pls explain.

Will it be reset when writing from RAM to EEPROM?

When you 'write' data from the RAM to EEPROM, you simply issue a STORE_USER_ALL command and the chip internally does the individual writes to EEPROM.  The data you wrote to the RAM is copied to the EEPROM.  It's possible to 'reset' the EEPROM by writing 0x00 or 0xFF to certain registers but not all registers can take 0x00 or 0xFF.  For example, the watchdog registers are 'reset' by writing 0x8000.  You should run the DRC first.
