Query about REF192

Thread Summary

The user inquired about the output shift due to soldering effects on the REF192, specifically regarding the temperature information in Figure 24 of the datasheet. The final answer confirmed that the question was addressed, but did not provide specific details. The recommended soldering temperature for the REF192 using a leaded profile was not explicitly stated in the thread.

Dear Team,

Please explain or share information …about output shift with respective to temperature value (due to solder effect )…please see below information is available in REFf192 datasheet of page:21 in figure 24…but there is temperature information… Please also explain recommended soldering temperature for solder REF192 part using” leaded profile”

Thanks in advance for your kindly help!

  • Hi, we recommend using JEDEC spec solder profile for soldering REF192. In order to get the best performance, we recommend soldering for minimum temperature and time as allowed by JEDEC spec. A special reflow profile is not required. The shift shown here is what can be expected in general. PCB design also affects the overall reflow shift and long-term drift. Please see ADI application note AN-82 for more information.
