  • hi,

I'm using ADV7441A, some questions are here:

    1) In my own Board, how to update the EID in EEPROM?

    2) Can I get the ADI 's demo software  in AD7441 Evaluation kit CD? or need to buy it?

    very thanks

    showers

  • Hi,

I'm using ADV7441A in my design with HDMI, VGA and component video inputs, I'm currently writting the software driver, but I'm not clear on the flow of the chip operation. For example, in my software, I want first know which port (e.g., HDMI or VGA) has video input, and what is the resolution and other parameters, but the sample code provided by ADV7441 seems that you should know everything then do the configurations, e.g., you should know the resolution is 1024x768 @ 65M from VGA, then configure the HDMI to that resolution. My question is for the receiver chip, the input resolution is unknow, how do you detect it? Does ADV7441A has some mechanism to detect it?

    Thanks!

    Sibing
