Hi Andy,
I checked with my IBIS model makers and they tell me that the rising/falling waveforms are optional and that Analog hasn't normally included them.
Best,
Chris
Chris,
Are you going to post some updated IBIS files for us?
Thanks,
Andy
None of the IBIS files I checked within our group had the rising or falling waveforms. I will check into this next week and see what can be done about it for you and others.
update for ad9880 ibs file:
open the ad9880.ibs file using an editor, and found out there are no "rising waveform" and "falling waveform" data for all models. I am not sure this is the cause that simulation does not work on Hyperlynx. can anyboday help to resolve this problem?
Hi,
I tried to download AD9880 ibis model from here and run simulation on HyperLynx. it seems the ad9880 ibis file is broken.
set ad9880 as output device and use oscillator mode to probe the output, it is always a line. changed to another device as output device, the wave form toggles fine.. any comments?
