Aves is connected shown by the green bar on the main window.
The Yellow strip is miss leading. It's the main window that counts. I can see that the added device is active since the register bits have real values in them
but sir, i am changing the register value but o/p is not changing.i want to control RGB color combination.i have send some commend but that command was not giving any response.
i am trying to connect this board with linux operating system.
so can you tell me how can i do this
Aves3 is a windows only tool. If you want to connect to the board with linux you will have to create your own tool and implement the proper serial writes to the board. I have tested Aves with windows VMs but not a Windows VM running under Linux
please answer me on my previous question that i am changing the register value but o/p is not changing.i want to control RGB color combination.i have send some commend but that command was not giving any response.
please reply me as soon as possible.
Can you please start a regular thread on https://ez.analog.com/welcome by posting a question. It is easier for us to track.
But to answer the question, what is required to change color space depends on the system set up, what hardware you are running and which scripts you are running. For the ADV7842, registers INP_COLOR_SPACE[3:0], RGB_OUT and ALT_GAMMA determine the output color space. If you are using the ADV7842-7511 eval board then the ADV7511 would have to be configured correctly include Y1Y0 register if you are outputting HDMI instead of just plain DVI.
From the picture above I see registers bits have a '1 in them indicating you have access to the part.
I strongly suggest using the serial interface for for connection to the board instead of the USB port. The USB port will soon be deprecated and not supported for the ADV7842-7511 evaluation board.
