The ADV7623 evaluation board had an option to stuff a capacitor in parallel with the external swing resistor, see attached snapshot. This capacitor was used for evaluation purposes pre-release and was not intended for customer use. This capacitor should not be stuffed on any PCBs. If this capacitor is stuffed it can cause intermittent issues on power up as follows:
1. The ADV7623 may not read the downstream EDID correctly.
2. The HDCP controller may report it is in error state 9 (TX Main Map, 0xC8 [7:5] = 1001).
