For the GPIO pins, we’re seeing a very slow transition time in the range of 100’s ns for rising and falling edge in our HyperLynx sim which doesn’t really make sense.

Unfortunately the current revision (Rev 3, Apr. 2008) MAX7301 IBIS model is good for up to 1MHz, and creates distorted waveforms as the frequency increases up to 26MHz maximum as device supports. The IBIS model for this device should run correctly at 26MHz minimum, and this model does not. The MAX7301 IBIS model is in queue for revision, and the new version will posted to the website after validation.
