ADV7842 4:2:2 DDR mode, ADV7393: Stanag3350 support?  (2)

I am facing problems with replies to your answer, so I am oppening a new dicussion with the same title.

Please clarify your answer regarding STANAG support:

2) As I understand it, this is the same as RS-343A/EIA-343A and none of our parts support it.

Based on previous posts and question STANAG is supported as found in several posts.

Note my customer has selected AD based on this STANAG support...

    Hi Freddy,

    Note that all those posts were in regards to decoders and not all class A and as well you have asked about an encoder.

    As in those posts-- it all depends on the details.  In terms of guaranteed support, there is none in any case for these formats on any part.

    For A/D's, If it's a component format that it'll probably work since it's a straight conversion, but we haven't tried it.  If it's a composite format that requires a decode, then none of our parts will support it. 

    Since your question was for a video encoder, note that non-standard timing modes aren't supported so they would be on their own ever more so than with the decoders.
