Question for DE signal ADV7541

Question

Dear Sir/Madam, 
 Your ADV7541 can generate DE signal, I can confirm. 
 But default setting is still Disable. 
 So if we control by SAV and EAV, we dont need DE signal, correct? 
 In general, does almost user use DE signal? 
 Please give me your advice.
